Body Seems To Fall Asleep

3 posts in this topic

Does anyone else have this too? When I'm sitting for long periods of time, such as when I'm at work, it feels like my body has fallen asleep and it takes my muscles a little while to wake up and function again.

Hi Karne, It seems you are describing sleep paralysis - I have attached our Questions & Answers flyer - you will see in the flyer that question 3 lists the primary symptoms of N - and what they are -- I think you will see what I mean! I attached our no graphics version - its a smaller file just in case you have space limitations on your PC or laptop. Let me know if this helped you or not. Take care, Joyce

I try to make sure I stretch and wiggle around at my desk a lot, and I get up and walk around.  If I don't move around a lot I will fall asleep!
