I know the title sounds funny, I don't know what's going on either! I go see my optho-neurologist next week, she's real smart, but I think this will stump her too.
She's been giving me Topamax for three months to treat the photosensitivity syndrome I've been fighting. Certain kinds of flickering light send me into dizzyness, and even cataplexy. The Topamax fixed that nicely.
But in the last few weeks, it started ramping up the effect of the Ritalin dose that I've not changed in 14 years! I've now cut down to half the Ritalin I was on. I was bouncing off the walls, I had all of the classic "taking too much" symptoms. I feel great now.
Eventually, maybe I could be at, zero? I'm certaininly not complaining, and I'll add to this post if anyone's interested in how this plays out.
