Hi there,

I'm finding myself in the same boat.  Can't even drive mostly.  Missing an appt as I write; brain fog.  But lucky I bookmarked this:  http://www.superlawyers.com

Hope it helps.

I am 44 and in the same boat. I've gathered tons of information, thinking that I could file a disability claim on my own. My family has convinced me, and web searches on the topic have convinced me that I need a lawyer.

Look up disability statutes by state, and more specifically the ones defining disability. From there, try to find out if Narcolepsy is viable as its own, or if its a "loss of consciousness" disability.

Also, if you're willing to pay a little money, there is a website called justanswer.com that offers professional legal advice, among others. Most of their lawyers can be looked up by state licensing boards, too.
