First Night Of Xyrem
Posted 14 July 2012 - 06:04 PM
at first i felt like i was slowing getting a bit loopy. my body started to get numb and slower movements, i started to hear things clearer, i felt my heart rate go down, slower breathing. i had small leg spasm, but nothing painfull, just wierd feeling, but i just went with the flow. i eventually had little visuals with my eyes closed, i was thinking about wierd stuff, like stuff melting,
I tried it last night for the first time as well. It took me about 30 minutes to fall asleep because I was laughing so much! I would be paralyzed and about to sleep and then think of something funny and the laughter would kind of ripple through me and wake me up. I kept waking my boyfriend up to laugh with me. I felt completely drunk too, like spins in bed drunk, and I had a few muscle spasms as well (not painful, just annoying). I still woke up multiple times throughout the night, but I got a few good chunks of sleep in there. When my alarm woke me up to take my second dose I was pretty pissed that I had to drink more salty water, but fell right back asleep.
This morning I have had a mild headache and felt pretty lethargic, but that's normal for a lazy saturday. I've also felt pretty confused and dazed all day, but well enough to go out to lunch for a bit. I was so nervous last night I almost couldn't bring myself to take the first dose because I'd read so much on here about different people's reactions to the first night and next day. All in all it felt like a normal night before the xyrem. I still took my concerta 36mg this morning, but only took one dose of ritalin 10 this afternoon.

hmmm.. sounds like we had the same exprience lol, but from what i've read, it takes a few weeks to start seeing improvments on the low dose, and then eventually over a few months, you get the drastic life changing improvments, so just keep on keepin on, we'll get there! can't judge anything from the first try, especially, xyrem hah.. but yeah goodluck with ya. I'd say, put on some jazzy music, relax, just have an average time you want to get in bed, and start making it a somewhat routine, and then it will pay off in the long run, you'll get use to it. But goodluck with ya, looks like were both gonna get a little bit goofy minded tonight, haha taking mine in about (10-15 mins) 10:35pm EST. take it easy, would enjoy exchanging some gnarly stories from night #2 of xyrem. Later homie
How it working for ya now a days? I wish my first night was relaxed the the two of you!
