I drive but only for short distances and im very careful when I do if I start feeling the least bit sleepy or tired I pull over lay my seat back and close my eyes whether I fall asleep or not I dont go anywhere til it passes. Sometimes just a few minutes to let the sleepiness pass and Im fine. I used to drive about an hour a day to and from work and alot while working but I caught myself so many times dozing at the wheel and even had my fair share of accidents. Driving with narcolepsy is not something to think you can just do without any problems. Im disabled now and only drive when I have to go to town for groceries but its only about an 8 minute drive. It seems that I do better of the mournings after Ive taken my meds.
