Stanford's Center for Narcolepsy has applied for a $250,000 grant in Pepsi's Refresh Everything Project to fund critical research. In order to receive this grant it must be ranked #1 or 2 on June 30 when voting ends. .

This Narcolepsy ImmunoChip Project has been moving up steadily. Today's rank is 59 of 296 proposals - we're now in the top 20%! The project needs many more votes to reach #1. We're certain we can get it there WITH YOUR HELP!

Vote once each day, recruit family, friends and contacts to vote each day and remind them often. Don't forget to recruit younger voters, age 13 and up. You can also use the tool on the ImmunoChip page to promote this project on Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites.

TO VOTE: Go to www.refresheverything.com/narcolepsyimmunochipproject

You'll need to register the first time and sign in thereafter. Save your log-on info! If you lose the ImmunoChip page after you sign in just renter the URL above or search the site for "narcolepsy" (the search button is at the top right of the window) and click on the title when the search results appear.

You will know your vote has been accepted when you see "Thanks" in the box where the voting button had been.

NN is also supporting P.A.N.D.A.S. - likewise an autoimmune disorder - at www.refresheverything.com/pandas. They, in turn, are supporting the Narcolepsy ImmunoChip Project with their votes. Please also support PANDAS with one of your 10 daily votes.

Need help navigating the Refresh Everything web site? Email me - ssmith@narcolepsynetwork.org. I'll be happy to help!

Heartfelt thanks to all!

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!

The rules have been modified and we need to make sure we are compliant, proxy voting is not allowed.

Do not encourage people to vote for others. It is against the rules.

The rules at http://www.refresheverything.com/faq provide:

* Is proxy voting allowed?

Proxy voting is not allowed. We understand this may not have been clear within the original Application Guidelines, though always against the spirit and integrity of the program. As of June 1st, any idea that uses proxy voting which includes but is not limited to creating multiple and/or dummy emails may be disqualified.

Pepsi is monitoring votes very closely. If they see multiple votes coming from the same IP address, especially one right after the other, the entire project could be disqualified and the applicant barred from further participation. They will make certain exceptions, for instance when it is reasonable to think many legitimate votes could be made on the same computer, such as at schools.

Remember to vote each and every day. Thank you.
