Should I get a copy of the sleep study? If yes, why? Is it written in a way that anyone could understand it?

You can ask for a copy of its scoring and interpretation. If they gave you an actual copy it would show ur brain waves from all 12 leads (with a PSG/MSLT I think its only 12) of the ECG, correlated with breathing, O2 sat., and 3 lead ecg. So no, you don't want the actual data unless you ask for a CD of it to send out for a second opinion on it.
