My amount of nightly sleep varies widely with no real discernible cycle or cause. That being said naturally I would sleep more than 10 hours (I think). Oddly I rarely if ever sleep for more than 4 hours in a row without waking up (and being aware of it). Sometimes waking up means just opening my eyes, looking at the clock, glaring at it, rolling over and then going back to sleep. At other times I can be up and about for hours in the middle of the night. I can sleep anywhere from 2-20 hours a day.
And yes, when timed right, short naps help.
But that's all pretty much a guestimate because I'm not always aware of falling asleep. During my MSLT I didn't think I'd fallen asleep at all...
Canadian, how's your son doing?
